Dr Michelle Teo

Dr Michelle Teo is an ophthalmologist with 14 years of medical experience, specialising in cataract surgery, corneal disease, and eyelid surgery. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and Biomedical Science degrees with First Class Honours at the University of Nottingham in the UK.

Dr Teo undertook her ophthalmology training in London through the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, including appointments at Moorfields Eye Hospital and King’s College Hospital.

Dr Teo has contributed to clinical research, with publications in Nature Eye and presentations at multiple international conferences. She was invited to the UK Parliament at Westminster to discuss patient safety innovations with Members of Parliament and the House of Lords and was an invited speaker at the Royal College of Physicians Medical Innovations Summit. Her practice includes corneal and ocular surface procedures such as pterygium excision and corneal cross-linking, as well as laser treatments for glaucoma and narrow angles. She also performs eyelid and oculoplastic surgery, provides intravitreal injections, and manages watering eye conditions and dry eye disease.
